Safety Goggles Empty Safety Goggles

Post by Drogdar 27th January 2012, 2:41 pm

I figured this has been covered before but I didn't really see what I was looking for.

Im looking for recommendations. I see the wilcox field only allows goggles... all I use is safety glasses. The reason for this is because I have used goggles before in the past and they have fogged up.

Im looking for some goggles that meet the field reqs., are cheap(ish), and fit like sunglasses (as far as size). Im not sure if I want tinted or not. I think I'd rather have some tint to them but I don't want it to hinder my sight in low light situations.

When I get home I'll post up what I have found so far.

Thanks guys.

Well if thats the case then I am not worried. I use the safety glasses (which meet the impact rating) in combination with this:http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=30_744&products_id=33666

With that on I usually just wear my regular glasses (which are also impact rated) but my glasses of course don't seal like the safety glasses.

If my current safety glasses aren't up to par these are the ones I pick out real quick:

Im wanting to stay around $15 (+ $5) and they need to be glasses "style" goggles so they work with the half mask.

I wouldn't recommend option 2. I have them and they are sub-par for airsoft. Those bobster goggles are more meant for motorcycles, as the holes in the sides of the goggles only work to defog if you're traveling faster than 15 mph lol.

Yes. I like the mask as well. It takes some adjusting though. I spent sometime today bending it to fit right.

after seeing your goggles yesterday... i have made up my mind: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
