Looking to get a new tactical vest
I need some help with deciding on which tactical vest to buy. What does everyone think is the best out there for a m4?

Ok, I'll look at a plate carrier. What do you think about a Pantac or Condor?

Plate carrier or chest rig. Chest rigs, oddly enough, are more like belly rigs - a cummerbund and suspenders kinda thing. Plate carriers rock, and there are all kinds with or without pre-made pouches, but they are a bit hot. Chest rigs are a little cooler in the summer. But either work just fine.

Condor is fine for airsoft, Pantac is big money very high quality stuff i think FLYE is like the GMC version of pantac (same stuff less frills)
Most of my pouches have been condor. I would say a RRV/ wasatch style chest rig would be great since it's light wieght and you won't die from heat. if you want tons of mags then use the Triple AK pouches since they'll hold three mags per cell (Ak or AR)

I like plate carriers with lots of molle real estate yea my interceptor is hot but get used to that if ur gon play in summer and the molle holds puches really securely i run 11 mid caps and 2 pistol mags and a speedloader i can move quickly without worrying bout losing mags or pouches anyways my vote is molle platecarrier

I agree with several points that have been made. I love running my chest rig in the summer. It is lighter, cooler and carries plenty. I do love my
plate carrier as well, and just looks SICK (IN A GOOD WAY). Either one you decide to run they will both be HOT in the Summer so don't let that be a factor in your decision.

Re: Looking to get a new tactical vest
dude if u are worried about the heat with a vest don't be if u are going to play in summer it will be hot no matter what u have on so don't let that be a factor in your pick. and some plate carrier that don't have the side panels are usually better heat wise as plate carriers go that is that is what i run but if u want to carry a tone of mags it probably won't work i have 5 mag pouches on mine but i think u probably could fit 6 if u arranged them right. but any way good luck on finding a vest u like and hope to shoot u soon.

Not really concerned about the heat. Ok, so plate carrier it is. Now, which one to get? Any opinions on who has the best.

If you're coming out to the field this weekend I can show you some options that I carry, which includes Condor, Pantac and Voodoo Tactical.
