MS-TAC, with up to 19 players is interested in coming down to play. It's a normal game day, but they were wondering if we could turn it into a mini-OP or have some Halloween themed games.

So I ask you, frequenters of this board, would you like a themed game day, or a more OP-like day? Or perhaps you want a long, side-to side set of games? What would you lie to do?

I'm up for any thing.

NIGHT GAME...

It should be a force on force op during the day. And a zombie game at night. Or possibly the other way around. Either way we should really have a good game this month.

i kinda like S&S idea and i definitley think there needs to be a zombie game if it is a halloween theme but i don't really cair if it is a mini op or a theme game/day ethier way more targets more fun! . oh and btw no night game for cdr to kill all of us he is good enuff without the aid of the darkens and night vision

I also like s&s idea aswell but some one should bring pumpkins and we can use theme as target practice at the chrono station plus I just want to shoot pumpkins and try to make faces with bb's it sounds fun eather without pumpkins or with pumpkins.

So far, we're looking at a night game. Not sure if it is going to be a full day and then a night game, or if we are going to start late.

It's possible this may turn into an overnight game (but no game on Sunday) so that people can sleep it off and then head home.

It's a little early to say, we will have more info soon.

I don't know about an overnight game but maybe starting around 6 and playing till around 10 would be good. No day playing though because we really don't want people to be worn out for the zombie game (if we have it) but that's just my idea's.

i was thinking start around 12 so we can get some daylight action then roll into a night game or two

What kind of night game, then? Full game with objectives or a bunch of small games?

I would really like to have a zombie game. But let's ask the community. What should the somber games rules be. No matter what no physical contact. But maybe the zombies should just have pistols to start, have infinite respawns and have 30 second delay between respawns. There also.will be a timed portion. Where the survivors have to get an objective ie food and ammo cans. And bring them back to start. Just some ideas. I wanna know what you guys think.

Zombie games require a story. Otherwise it is just a big attack & defend game. Stories require admins, narrators, non-player-characters and a few other things like planning, objectives and endgame.

But if you're up to the challenge...

Im with allout... zombie games are usually bad

I vote no zombie games.

Just a FYI, Most of us cannot swing a night game because of the drive of 9 hours round trip on top of the time played at the game. I would recommend a game that starts at 10am and runs into dusk. We have a plausible mini game that can be ran sucessfully on you field for a zombie matcH if you are interested. So far we have a definite of 12 people coming and possibly 24. We want to have fun so this does not have to be extravegent. All the people except three have not played on your field. We are up for all game types the only thing if you do a night game our numbers might become much less(due to drive time/fatigue).

We are all excited and everything else sounds great. We cannot wait (;

I am not opposed to opening the field at the normal time.

There is no reason, that I know of, not to run a day set of small games AND to have night games. It is possible that some may not stay for the night games, but then they are also the ones that would not show up for that too.

If you're up for running a zombie game earlier in the day, PM with the details and we can see how it goes - I'll help or play.

But it is being bandied around to be 'overnight' and drive home Sunday (need to double check this) - if true, would alleviate the driving stress and allow you to play the night games too.

I have a zombie mini game that should be fun and affective for the holiday spirit with easy rules and every should able to understand. Their is a small story, nothing major. I am trying to run this past Che Chuey and Allout before I post the specifics. I havent had any luck with Howie, but I think the other two admins will fill him in (;

Howie is lost in the Warp. Somewhere on the other side of the planet. Rumor has it he is hunting for Bin Laden's Corpse - something to do with using his bones to make an onion soup.

Ok - here is what it looks like it is going to be

08:30 Opening Gate (I think, Jamie may correct this)
09:30 Regular game day.
14:00 Start Zombie game
17:30 End Zombie game
18:30 Night games start
00:01 Or earlier, we pass out.

So any idea what the rules for the zombie game will be?
