Florida Panhandle Airsoft Television

Not the best name but I figured. Not everyone goes and checks every forum and all that so what if there were a weekly television show that keeps everyone updated in the local area? I decided i'd give it a shot in hopes that it may help inform local airsofters to find out about all the local events and such and news with teams and whatever else airsoft related. Any feedback would be appreciated. This would also be conducted on Ustream.com

You could always do a version with me over at SEA, and you could call it SEAT... hahaha... chairsofter joke, that was good.

We had been toying with the idea for a while but it really isn't my bag. Sites, banners, graphics, etc I can do but not so much the video stuff. Let me know if you would be interested. We have a dedicated server so there is no need for offsite hosting if we can help it.

When are you free for calls? I prefer to get the instant details through phone more so then anything if possible.

Any kind of feedback is good or suggestions. Mainly, i'm trying to find the best days of the week to do maybe 2 20 minute live broadcasts a week, one being a regular show and the other one being an interactive show where people can ask questions. It'll be week nights more then likely, seeing as Saturdays i'm at the field and Sundays i'm usually with someone, out and about.

I would say thrusdays, so guys can see the events around the area , and then monday nights for recaps of the weekend events, just my thoughts

That is a good idea Howie. I can imagine that most of the broadcasts for future games will be for ones that are well in advance. Once the broadcasts are going I have several contacts with larger vendors from days of old that we can get sponsorship going for it. Maybe we can announce raffle winners and such on them for free stuff.

Captain. I like that idea Howie stated. I'm considering making the Mondays the interactive nights then, where you can ask questions and such. The rest of the week will be planned ahead of time just in case we need a special day for interviews.

Ok I got some suggestions, but first a question. Are you plannin on gettin on TV STRAIGHT AWAY? Depending on that answer I'll say either goodluck, or you need to post it on ustream.com, youtube.com, here, and all cooperating forums. Maybe even make a thread of it on Evike.com, or some other real popular airsoft forum. Those are just my suggestions for getting it NOTICED, not for actually making the show itself... I'm training right now to be a public affairs assistant for my NJROTC Unit, so these arent random BS suggestions

It's a USTREAM broadcast right now. I'm doing test shows. Thursday and Monday at 7. First one is coming up this Thursday.

Of course. I would like to use it to get local teams involved too, with no bias toward my own or others. No worries, I plan to keep it informative and factual.

I'm running test shows on this channel right now. Create an account and follow the show for the time being please! I do think we're making a seperate account for the SEA and i'll run a broadcast off that when it all comes to completion. I'm doing the shows at 7 pm CST Thursdays and Mondays.
