Surplus stores in Pensacola

Alright, looking to get into another pair of boots, and at the moment money is not right and may not be for a little while to pay for a pair of new. Was wondering if anyone knew of any surplus stores in the Pensacola area that are reasonable. My boots I wore while active, well lets just say they got some weird crap growing from them now lol. Boots I had (now in trash) where my Danners I wore. Love the comfort of them (some may disagree I know a lot of Grunts did lol), but just what i prefered. For all I care they can be the old type deserts, comfort right now isn't an issue. I just want to get out on the Sept game and get some play in. And meet you crazy mofo's I know their is a few surplus stores in the area, just wanted a point in the right direction. I'll be picking these up the friday before game day, aka pay day. But want to start looking tomorrow on my day off to start pricing.

You might want to try Brownsville Army Navy Store. It located on Mobile Hwy. directly across the street from Brownsville Assembly of God. Their location is in a less than desirable part of town but they have lots of stuff.

Alright thanks, I'll look up there info in the AM when I get up and head that way. A guy I work with mentioned them also. And undesirable, as long as I'm not being shot at I'll be ok. I drive a Geo, so I'll fit right in! lol

ahh....brownsville army navy......used to love that place...

i love the old foot locker its located on navy BLVD.

haven't had a chance to look at the old foot locker other than spending about 15 mins in there.....owner seemed nice though....the thing with b'ville is that it used to have a TON of ww2 korean era and vietnam stuff...but at some point some of the younger members of the family that owns it started weeding through alot of the stuff and any vintage items disappeared...probably onto ebay or something..lol...

Lol, surplus store taking out vintage stuff, now that's interesting haha. I've called both stores, and both have boots in my size. I just specified on Combat Boot and not desert or jungles, but at this point I'd much rather be playing. So I'll head there way (about twenty minute drive to both depending on traffic) on Friday and plan to be out on Saturday.
