What would be a good gbb rifle but for a low price?

You can buy a WE-Tech cheaper than most of those, but you'll be pushing $450 or better by the time you've made it reliable. I love my WE SCAR, but she's a needy B****! I won't tell you to shy away, just go into it knowing you'll need to replace a lot of Chinese mystery metal with steel and billet aluminum before you can pull the trigger and be confident of the outcome. After that, they stop eating parts. ALLOUT has the most experience with these guns.

That's right. The upside is that you will know your gun inside out, backwards and forwards by the time you are finished. "This is MY rife. There are many like it. This one (and the stack of receipts for parts) is MINE!"

No matter whose rifle you go with, you will need to learn your way through your GBBR. None are as off-the-shelf ready or as low maintenance as a high-end AEG. GBBR strengths are FPS and the enjoyment of the sound and motion. If your play style revolves around putting lots of BBs downrange, you won't be happy with the choice.

The G&P right off the shelf works like a champ, the two used G&P has work like a champ, the one I put together had a B.B. jam in the selector, overall the most issues is not putting enough gas in the magazines.
