Re: Local Games
Minimum of ten since it is team hailfires homefield, usually there are a few people extra that show up for pick up games , etc. when the teams overlap it is a high number 20+

Howie, in airsoft, what if your advice for assaulting a position where everyone is bunkered in but has limited visibility. and this goes for the attackers as well (limited visibility) I can draw a diagram later lol

Re: Local Games
Well it depends, as at the HailFire Field, Out of Bounds comes into play, as the bush is thick, so movement is restricted, every player will try something different, Me I would try to Flank them where they would think I wouldn't come from. Stay on the trail, Kill on that trail.

Re: Local Games
The flank of that base is semi out of bounds but it can be doable if they are distracted I think

Frog, draw a half ass diagram, and I'll see what I can do about showing you flanking maneuvers. Being I do not know the field lay out just a half ass diagram will work.

Light blue are the defenders and the red is the light of sight from where they are standing, yellow is the line of sight from the trail. There is heavy brush so it's pretty much jagged areas are impassable without making alot of sounds and being shot

this is a picture facing out of the base

this is the approach from the other trail

this picture you can see the trail where the attackers coming from the trail before it turns

So the backside of defenders is OOB (out of bounds) correct? IF this leaves the sides for flanking, (not knowing if their is out of bounds on sides or not). This my thoughts, howie you can add in being you've seen the field and I have not. I'm just going by hasty pic, and btw frog I've seen butterbars draw better ones lol.
I'd set up a hasty ambush (two man team three if the trail allows), have them make a little noise. Try and draw the defenders out of the defensive zone. Bring em into a funnel if possible. If they're stubburn, the ambush team has allowed some of the defenders to concentrate on them. Move in slowly, set up a firing line and move forward. Yes, this'll cause noise due to as you said the brush being thick. Everything is manuervabule. You just will be a little bit slower on the attack. If spread out (with enough people) they'll start taking pop shots at everything they start to hear. This'll work to your advantage. Hell, with the ambush team taking some of their concentration, slide out a right side flank (going by pic here) to do the same thing. Main assault coming up the middle slowly. They'll either run out of BB's or or you'll be caught in the sh*t. Either way, you now have 180* coverage on them. if not a little more. I can't say how well this'll work, being I have not been out there as of yet (planning to bring the guys saturday to test my gear before heading to the big OP in Oct). I'll get their a little early and we can walk that area.

Pretty much dead on Butterbean, or use the brush slowly moving where you have a good shoot and range, iand stay off the trails, it's like giving them a calling card

'tis why you use a hasty ambush. It'll give you the advantage on the trail. Or do like I do and throw someone to the peasants...Where's Nokrot when you need him
